DAVID GILES
Co-Founder
David began his career working with AIB and Deutsche Bank as a Qualified Financial Advisor before moving to Cushman and Wakefield Ireland, commercial property specialists. Here, he worked in a Development Advisory role working with large landowners/institutions such as NAMA, investment funds, religious orders etc. on how to maximize the potential of their properties.
In 2014, David began leasing numerous properties and operating them, providing serviced apartment stays under the platform ‘Airbnb’. In 2017, he established Keyhole Serviced Accommodation Ltd., a high-quality short-term accommodation provider in Ireland.

In 2020, David joined forces with Padraig O'Dwyer & Billy Mulhern to establish Shortstays.ie. The merger brought together Bébinn Ltd. and Keyhoie Serviced Accommodation Ltd. as one entity.

PADRAIG O'DWYER
Co-Founder
Padraig is a highly successful serial entrepreneur. Padraig has managed multiple media companies with a combined staff of over 300 employees and a turnover of €100m. Padraig, as a major shareholder, set up and drove the bid to win the government licenses for Ocean FM and KFM. KFM was sold in 2007 for €7m.
Padraig also established ‘The River Media Group’, a stable of regional newspapers and websites, that was sold to Iconic Newspapers for €5m n 2018. Padraig also founded and retains a shareholding in ‘Sunshine Radio’.

In 2020 Padraig and his business partner Billy, joined forces with David Giles to establish Shortstays.ie.

BILLY MULHERN
Co-Founder/CFO
Billy is a member of the Chartered Institute of Accountants and runs his own well-established accountancy practice, Mulhern & Co Chartered Accountants, in Naas, Co. Kildare.
He has 30+ years experience in advising property clients including hoteliers, developers, estate agents and construction companies. He is a partner and the Regional Director in Ireland, of the UK and Ireland Xeinadin Accountancy Group.

Billy served as the chairman of ‘KFM’ and steered the company to the most successful launch in Irish media history. The company was sold for €7m in 2007.

In 2020 Billy and his business partner Padraig O'Dwyer, joined forces with David Giles to establish Shortstays.ie.
